UK Aid Partnership

In June 2019, we were very excited to formalise our partnership with UK Aid through the Crowd Power 2 (CP2) programme that is run by Energy4Impact.

CP2 is an extension of Crowd Power, a pioneering research programme funded by UK Aid, which examines the role of crowdfunding and P2P lending in the energy-access space; it supported over 250 campaigns, by nonprofits and companies, which raised £3.4 million across nine platforms.

This programme will provide Charm with a long-term strategic partner that has aligned interests in using the power of the crowd and democratising investment to truly make a difference and empower people with access to electricity.
