Channelling those Good Energies

In March 2020, we received confirmation that we had been approved for a grant from the Good Energies Foundation. We were thrilled about the prospect of having a funding partner whose mission was so aligned with our own!

Good Energies Mission Statement:

“At Good Energies Foundation, we believe that reversing climate change and alleviating poverty go hand in hand. Our goal is to help prevent climate change and mitigate its harm, especially to people who live in poverty. Backed by a family of entrepreneurs, Good Energies Foundation invests in early-stage market solutions and funds efforts to bring successful approaches to scale.”

The grant from Good Energies will support Charm’s growth and help us deploy at least ten additional projects by next year through providing the first-loss capital that will be integrated into each of our loans. This is a really exciting partnership that we think will catalyse our plans to scale over the next 24 months.
